Reduces stocking requirements, one armour clamp ring suites W/X/Y/Z armour. Nine sizes suit cable outer diameters up to 78mm. Fully inspectable armour clamping. Provides seal on lead sheath cable. Wide cable acceptance range eases selection. Same hexagon size enables faster installation. CE.
APPLICATION
Outdoor or Indoor. For use with lead sheathed, single wire braided 'X,' aluminium strip armoured 'Y,' steel tape armoured 'Z,' and non-armoured (A4) elastomer, platic and paper insulated cable. When using this type of gland with non armoured cable the armour clamping components are still required for sompression of inner seals.
FUNCTION
When required, provides armour clamping, suing one component for all armour/braid types W, X,Y,Z. Provides a seal on inner lead sheath of cable. Provides a seal on outer sheath of cable. IP 66.
OPERATING TERMPERATURE RANGE
-20 degrees C to +80 degrees C. MATERIALS AND FINISHES: Hawke glands are manufacured as standard in brass (BS.2874). Alternative materials include stainless steel (BS.970) and mild steel (BS970). Hawke glands can be supplied plated to suit the customers application, e.g. zinc, nickel etc.
