Reduces stocking requirements, one armour clamp ring suits W/X/Y/Z armour. Nine sizes suita cable outer diameters up to 78mm. Dual certification EExd Flameproof and EExe Increased Safety helps reduce specification errors. Fully inspectable armour clamping. Provides seal on lead sheath cable. Wide cable acceptance range eases selection. Same hexagon size enables faster installation.
APPLICATION
Outdoor (when fitted with a shroud) or Indoor. For use with single wire armoured 'W', wire braided 'X', aluminium strip armoured 'Y', steel tape armoured 'Z' elastomer and platstic tube insulated cable.
FUNCTION
Provides armour clamping, using one component for all armour/braid types W,X,Y,Z. Provides a seal on inner sheath of cable.
501/452/RAC CERTIFICATION AND APPROVAL : BASEEFA Certificate No. Ex 941C1336U. Eexd and Eexe. EN 50014, EN 50018 and EN 50019. Sutiable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2. Suitable for group II A, II B and II C. The seal meets the requirements of IP 66. 352/RAC CERTIFICATION AND APPROVAL: BASEEFA Certificate No. Ex 94C3369U. EExe II. En 50014 and En 50019. Suitable for Group II A, II B and II C. Suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2. The seal meets the requirements of IP 66.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE
-60 degrees C to +100 degrees C. MATERIALS AND FINISHES: Hawke glands are manufacturers as standard in brass (BS. 2874). Alternative materials include stainless steel (BS. 970) and mild steel (BS. 970). Hawke glands can be supplied plated to suit the customers application, e.g. zinc, nickel etc.
