Seals conductors at entry into enclosure via conduit or gland.

APPLICATION
To seal conductors at entry to enclosre via conduit or gland. FUNCTION: Provides sealing of individual conductors.

DETAILS
For individual conductor sealing in conduit systems the SB 474 stopper box utilises a multi bore seal. The seal for the inner sheath is replaced with a solid 7 position indent-located synthetic rubber seal. The required number of holes for the conductors are punched by means of a special tool to suit the conductor sise. Assembly of the gland compresses the seal around each individual conductor creating a barrier.

CERTIFICATION AND APPROVAL
BASSEFA Approval No. BAS 1021U. For use in Groups II A, II B and II C applications. BS 4683 Part 2. OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE: -20 degrees C to +80 degrees C.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Hawke glands are manufactured as standard in brass (BS. 2874). Alternative materials include stainless steel (BS. 970) and mild steel (BS. 970). Hawke glands can be supplied plated to suit the customers application, e.g, zinc, nickel etc.
